Downtown

Project Description

For years, we have heard calls for bringing a branch library back to the downtown area. Although we have not identified a permanent space yet, we are looking for temporary space for a downtown branch until permanent space is secured. The branch would focus on online collections, offer patrons access to the latest technology, have broad and up to the minute access to international newspapers, and offer business-oriented reference materials for local and visiting business interests.

Timeline

The Municipality is currently searching for available property in the downtown core area. Stay tuned for further announcements.
