The Scott and Wesley Gerrish (Girdwood) Branch

Project Description

The Municipality opened the new Scott and Wesley Gerrish Branch Library in Girdwood in May 2008. The new 9,000 square-foot library also houses a Community Center, which gives the Girdwood community a much needed public gathering place.

The Gerrish Branch has seen record-breaking numbers since it opened in late May 2008. Visits to the library have jumped 69% from January to June and attendance at children’s programs rose 57%. View the report.
